Calamba Hoops is excited to announce the launch of our Community League, offering two distinct divisions to cater to every level of basketball passion: Regular Division and Elite Division.
Whether you're looking for a fun, community-focused experience or seeking high-stakes, top-tier competition, we've got a league for you!
This division is perfect for players of all skill levels, emphasizing community spirit, sportsmanship, and the joy of the game.
Eligibility:
Must be a Member of Calamba Hoops Basketball Community (Only Players/Members who joined until April 10 2025 are eligible).
Open to regular players and active Papawis players.
No Current Inter Brgy Players. (Mayor’s Inter Brgy 2025)
Regular Division Player with awards is ineligible. Papawis League Season 3 (MVP and All Team Awards).
Format: 10-12 teams, divided into 2 brackets, with play-in games after the elimination round.
Height Restriction: Maximum of one 6-footer per team.
Key Focus: Inclusive and developmental.
This division showcases the best local talent, offering a high-level competitive environment for experienced players.
Eligibility:
Must be a Member of Calamba Hoops Basketball Community.
Designed for advanced players.
Players currently participating in the Mayor's Inter-Barangay 2025 are not eligible for the Elite Division.
Format: 6-12 teams, organized into 1 or 2 brackets.
Height Restriction: Maximum of two 6-footers per team.
Key Focus: High-level competition and skill.
IMPORTANT NOTE!
Final eligibility decisions, including the determination of a player's suitability for either the Regular or Elite Division based on skill level and experience, are at the sole discretion of the league administrators. This ensures fair competition and maintains the integrity of each division.

Season Start: Immediately following the Papawis League Season 3.
Venue: Brgy Tres.
Team Size: 12 players per team, with up to 3 optional reserved players.
Player Fees: ₱1,700 per player; ₱800 per reserved player (optional).
Rules: Passerelle Rules will be enforced.

When does the Community League Season 1 start?
The Community League Season 1 will begin immediately following the conclusion of the Papawis League Season 3.
Where will the games be held?
All games will be played at the Brgy Tres venue.

How much are the player fees and what do they cover?
The player fee is ₱1,700. This fee covers:
Referee and committee fees.
Court rental fees.
Team trophy.
Team uniform.
League operational expenses (including live video, social media presence, video and replay production, photos, stats, and other operational costs).
Cash prize.
Reserved player fees are ₱800.
What are the height restrictions for each division?
The Regular Division allows a maximum of one 6-footer per team, while the Elite Division allows a maximum of two 6-footers per team.
What is the difference between the Regular and Elite Divisions?
Regular Division: Focuses on community participation and player development. Welcomes players of all skill levels, from beginners to recreational players. Emphasis on sportsmanship, fun, and creating a positive basketball experience.
Elite Division: Designed for experienced and highly skilled players. Features intense competition and showcases local talent. Emphasis on high-level gameplay and strategic competition.
What about the team uniforms?
Each team is required to provide their own jersey design for production. The player fee covers the cost of producing these uniforms.
